In these troubled times, it’s nice to know that there are still entrepreneurs having bonkers ideas which might just work.
One of them is my friend Tom Ball, who has launched and run more companies than I can shake a stick at (he’s also irrepressibly positive). His latest wizard wheeze is the Allaboardroom (geddit?!) – a fully equipped boardroom on a bus. Of course, that’s a daft idea, right? Not at all – actually for tours of multiple sites, exhibition work, or simply squeezing productivity out of travel time (failing to value staff time is one of the biggest mistakes in business), it’s a cracking idea.
Besides, who wouldn’t want the sheer pleasure of inviting guests into their mobile boardroom?
I’m going to try to get a part-time job with him serving the coffees.

wacky but clever at the same time… Best of British to Tom!
